Upon its release in 2016, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was envisioned as a momentous occasion for Warner Bros and the DC Universe. The film united two of the most legendary superheroes in American history, promising an epic showdown on the grand stage of the cinematic screen. Despite its financial success, grossing over $800 million globally, the superhero clash encountered obstacles receiving mixed reviews from critics and sparked polarized reactions among fans potentially damaging the DC brand.
